Hyundai Motor brings LPG variants of i10

Cashing in on the popularity of its hatchback i 10, Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) on Tuesday launched its LPG version. Priced at Rs.4.16 lakh and Rs.4.30 lakh for Era and Magna variants respectively, the i 10 LPG, also known as i 10 ‘blue drive', is powered by the 1.1-litre engine and equipped with loads of safety and comfort features.

Stating that the i 10's LPG variants would be dearer by Rs.27,630 compared to its petrol versions, HMIL Managing Director and CEO H.W. Park said: “The LPG version of i 10 is a viable alternative for customers looking at low running cost. With this launch, we are broadening our eco-friendly initiative.”

The new LPG version of i 10 comes with a factory-fitted LPG kit along with two-year manufacturer warranty. It has separate 35-litre petrol and 34-litre LPG tanks, giving customers an option to choose from LPG and petrol modes.
