Cashing in on the popularity of its hatchbacki10, Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) on Tuesday launched its LPG version. Priced at Rs.4.16 lakh and Rs.4.30 lakh for Era and Magna variants respectively, thei10 LPG, also known asi10 ‘blue drive', is powered by the 1.1-litre engine and equipped with loads of safety and comfort features.

Stating that thei10's LPG variants would be dearer by Rs.27,630 compared to its petrol versions, HMIL Managing Director and CEO H.W. Park said: “The LPG version ofi10 is a viable alternative for customers looking at low running cost. With this launch, we are broadening our eco-friendly initiative.”

The new LPG version ofi10 comes with a factory-fitted LPG kit along with two-year manufacturer warranty. It has separate 35-litre petrol and 34-litre LPG tanks, giving customers an option to choose from LPG and petrol modes.
