Hirotec to commence operations

Japan-based Hirotec Group that manufacturers doors and exhaust systems, hemming equipment, stamping dies and assembly tooling for cars, will invest Rs. 20 crore during the next two years to establish manufacturing facilities in Coimbatore and Pune.

Brian G. McGinnity, Chief Financial Officer of Hirotec America, and Brian Hopkins, Director and Executive Vice-President of Hirotec India, told presspersons here on Wednesday that Hirotec India would have a 10,500 sq. ft. plant in Coimbatore that would provide automotive tooling for car manufacturers. The plant would be fully operational by December this year. The company had invested Rs.9 crore so far in India. .
