HCL Technologies Ltd. (HCL) on Monday announced the launch of its XpressMigrate suite of offerings for Windows 7 migrations, enabling enterprises to minimise risk, bring higher visibility and reduce Windows 7 deployment cost up to 25 per cent. The suite consists of three offerings — remote desktop deployment solution for Microsoft Windows 7, application compatibility factory service (ACFS) for Windows 7 and application packaging service (APFS) for Windows 7

HCL has also developed a deployment dashboard at the core of this solution which will provide an overall as well as in-depth status report for all deployments, the company said in a statement.

The suite offered compelling benefits to enterprises like centralised deployment of desktop operating system and applications, automated process with minimum manual intervention, high visibility, reporting and simplified image management, Head of end-user computing services, HCL Technologies Infrastructure Services Division, Maninder Singh said in the statement.
