HCL in pact with News International

HCL Technologies Ltd. (HCL), an IT services provider, has entered into a multi-million pound sterling five-year technology infrastructure management and transformation engagement with News International, a U.K. subsidiary of News Corporation, a leading diversified global media company.

News International produces some of the U.K.’s most widely read newspapers, including The Times, The Sun, The Sunday Times and News of the World.com

HCL will be responsible for managing News International’s data centre and network environments along with strategically transforming them.

HCL works with over 40 leading media and entertainment companies worldwide, including four of the top five publishing companies.
