GM launches new Tavera

General Motors, on Wednesday, launched the new variant of its multi-utility vehicle (MUV) Tavera, which carries ‘extensive upgrade' based on customer feedback.

The Bharat Stage IV complaint Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 is priced between Rs.7.51 lakh and Rs.10.34 lakh. “Our engineers carried out an extensive upgrade of the popular Tavera, based on customer feedback…the result is a stylish yet durable vehicle that is perfectly suited for personal and business use. With the help of this new Tavera we will be able to now sell the vehicle in 13 cities where BS-IV norms are applicable,” GM India President and Managing Director Lowell Paddock told journalists here.

GM India Vice-President P. Balendran said the company expected to sell 25,000 units of Tavera this year compared to about 21,000 units in 2011.
