Future Innoversity, the academic initiative of Future Human Development Ltd. (FHDL), a part of the Future Group, on Thursday launched its two-year full-time flagship MBA (AICTE approved) and three-year full-time BBA courses in retail and entrepreneurship.

Briefing presspersons here, Kripesh Hariharan, Head-People Office, Central and Brand Factory, Pantaloon Retail (India), said the courses would be conducted in Bangalore, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. Each centre would have 18 classrooms and over 500 students in total would be enrolled. One more centre would be set up in Delhi soon. FHDL had partnered the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) to design credit and non-credit programmes in general and retail management. MBA degree would be awarded by IGNOU and the Certificate of Field Training by the Future Group. All successful MBA and BBA students would be inducted into the Future Group companies — Big Bazaar, Pantaloons and Central — at managerial and supervisory positions, he said. The future group made an entry into the education sector by establishing FHDL in 2008. For further details: log on www.fhdl.in
