EID-Parry net down

EID-Parry achieved a consolidated turnover of Rs.2,978.14 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011, against Rs.2,454.12 crore. The profit after tax declined to Rs.42.49 crore from Rs.63.35 crore.

Sundaram BNP Paribas

Sundaram BNP Paribas Home Finance registered a net profit of Rs.24.66 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2011, against Rs.8.02 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2010. Home loan disbursements went up to Rs.492.35 crore from Rs.301.65 crore.

Punjab & Sind Bank

Punjab & Sind Bank (PSB) announced a 33 per cent dip in net profit at Rs. 91.63 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2011 against Rs. 135.30 crore for the corresponding quarter last fiscal. Total income rose to Rs. 1,754.44 crore.

McLeod Russel

McLeod Russel India closed the third quarter ended December 31, 2011, with a 13 per cent drop in net profit at Rs.117.10 crore.

However its nine month results showed a highest-ever operating profit of Rs.377.67 crore as compared to Rs.355.17 crore in the same period in the previous year. The net profit was 6 per cent higher in the previous year.
