E.I.D. Parry (India) has completed the acquisition of 100 per cent of the voting shares of Valensa International, a limited liability company based in Florida, U.S. The company acquired 48 per cent stake in Valensa in 2008 as part of its business strategy to move up the value chain in the nutraceutical business. According to P. Gopalakrishnan, Vice-President, Finance, the total amount involved in acquisition of the U.S. company is about $14 million.
