J. P. Dua has taken over as the chairman and managing director of Allahabad Bank with effect from December 4. The post was lying vacant following the demission of office by K. R. Kamath on October 27.
Before joining Allahabad Bank as Executive Director in November 2007, Mr. Dua was the General Manager (Corporate Credit) of Oriental Bank of Commerce for over two years.
According to a bank release, Mr. Dua joined Allahabad Bank in November 2007.
