Inaugurates the state-of-the-art facility at Ambattur
Information technology and network services company CSS Corp on Monday unveiled new corporate identity and expanded services portfolio besides inaugurating a facility at Ambit Park in Amabattur near here to mark the start of its next decade of business expansion. The new brand identity will help the company deliver global visibility and recognition as international ICT (Information, communication and technology) services group.
CSS Corp Chief Executive Officer Nick Sharma told presspersons here on Monday that a research conducted through the international offices revealed that there were a number of challenges with the current brand name. The name CSS was widely used acronym for many types of businesses in the primary U.S. and European markets. Because of this, registering CSS as an international trading name became difficult, he added.
CSS Corp, headquartered in the U.S. and delivery centres in India and other parts of the world, earlier consisted of three companies — Cyberbet, Slash-Support and Ready Test Go, all based in Chennai.
Mr. Sharma said the company planned to integrate all the offices in Chennai into the new state-of-the-art Ambit Park facility, set up at a cost of about $4-5 million. Nearly 2,500 people would be housed in the new centre. The centre would be occupied by enterprise and consumer services divisions. It would have a dedicated floor for new staff recruitment.
CSS Corp in the last 12 months acquired three companies —U.S.-based carrier services company Glow Networks, a remote infrastructure management unit, InteQ (U.S.), and an IT consultancy company Aliquo Solutions of the U.K. The company has appointed new global executives for these acquired companies. The company earned revenue of $125 million in the last quarter. At present, he said, 85 per cent of the revenues were generated from the U.S. market.
