Central Bank launches pre-paid gift card

With an eye on wide range of pre-paid card products, Central Bank of India on Monday announced the launch of its pre-paid card Cent Gift Card.

The card was formally launched by G. C. Chaturvedi, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Finance at a function here.

The Cent Gift Card will be accepted in all the retail stores displaying Mastercard Signage and can also be used for online transactions as well as for mail order telephone order (MOTO) transactions wherever Mastercard is accepted.

These cards can be loaded with any value between Rs. 500 and Rs. 50,000. The pre-paid cards can be preloaded with any value of the choice of the customers and not pre-denominated with fixed values.
