BSNL has introduced various user-friendly plans to promote rural broadband.

The rural plans are available on usage-based tariffs as well as unlimited usage schemes at rates considerably cheaper than that in cities.

The plans start from the monthly fixed plan of Rs.99 and include the BBG Rural USOF 150 Plan that offers download speeds of up to 2Mbps and 1 GB free usage every month. Several combo plans with fixed charges for broadband and landline are also available for rural broadband users. There are no charges for registration, modem, security deposits or installation, the press note said.
