Belkin of the U.S. has Wednesday launched its new range of next generation Wi-Fi equipment that will make home networking simple. Belkin's state-of-the-art ‘Net Next Wi-Fi' products include basic, surf, share and play max routers, modem routers and wireless USB client adapters that let consumers play music, games, HD videos, share photos and print wirelessly from anywhere at home.
“Priced between Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 8,000, our new Wi-Fi range is designed for all kinds of consumers, right from the technology enthusiast to a newbie. Pre-loaded with exciting applications, the new range comes with pre-configured wireless security with unique pre-set security for every device.
These products will provide simple to set up, fast, reliable and secure wireless consumer experience. Our innovative range will allow for rapid adoption of Wi-Fi networking technologies,” said Belkin India Managing Director Mohit Anand.
About the company's growth in India, Mr. Anand said it hoped to achieve a five-fold jump in sales to $25 million (Rs.115 crore) by 2011.
