Bajaj Auto will launch a new 100 cc product in January next year, according to K. Srinivas, President of Motorcycle Business of Bajaj. Mr. Srinivas told presspersons on Wednesday, after inaugurating Sai Bajaj dealership here, that the new bike would have advanced technology, and also be expensive in that segment.
Value conscious
“Customers in this segment are value conscious,” he said. In India, mileage was important. “Along with mileage, we want to give the customers more features.” The new 100 cc product would be a mass bike. In the 100 cc segment, there was no excitement now. With better technology, there was opportunity in this segment, he said.
