Apax part sells shares in Apollo Hospitals

Private equity firm Apax Partners, on Monday, offloaded 63.85 lakh shares of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise for about Rs.530 crore.

The shares were brought by Oppenheimer Funds Inc through the open market route.

As per information available with the stock exchanges, Apax Partners Europe Managers sold 63.85 lakh shares of the healthcare services provider.

The shares were sold at an average price of Rs.830, valuing the deal at Rs.529.99 crore.

As of December quarter, Apax Partners Europe Managers held 1.34 crore shares or 9.67 per cent stake in Apollo Hospitals Enterprise.

Shares of Apollo Hospitals slipped by 0.24 per cent to settle at Rs.836.30 on the BSE.
