Air India has cancelled four flights to and from London scheduled for November 30, when a majority of public sector employees in the United Kingdom are likely to go on strike.
“In anticipation of a strike by the public sector employees in London on November 30 [Wednesday], the Amritsar-Delhi-London [AI-115], London-Delhi [AI-116], Delhi-London [AI-111] and London-Delhi [AI-112] flights have been cancelled,” an Air India spokesperson said here on Saturday. Immigration officers at Heathrow and other U.K. airports are also due to join the next week's strike action against planned pension reforms.
