Global major science company, DuPont has announced plans to invest Rs. 150 crore more on its integrated research and development centre near here with focus on improved food productivity and renewable energy sources.
Addressing media persons here on Wednesday to mark one year of Rs. 150 crore DuPont Knowledge Centre (DKC), Thomas M Connelly, Chief Innovation Officer and Executive Vice-President said that the company would examine opportunities for innovations, generate scientific solutions and commercialise those technologies and products suitable for local markets.
Local applications
Mr. Balvinder Singh Kalsi, President, DuPont India, said they would fully leverage their presence here for offering local applications and bringing out products relevant to Indian market and for this centre would become critical.
