FMCG company CavinKare Pvt Ltd. on Wednesday launched Cavin's Pure+, an ultra high temperature (UHT)-treated milk that lasts 120 days in a ‘new gen' pouch that keeps milk afresh without refrigeration.
Addressing a press conference here, C. K. Ranganathan, Chairman and Managing Director, said the milk was 100 per cent pure without any preservatives. It is UHT-treated and aseptically packed. Cavin's Pure+ is available in standardized milk, toned milk, double toned milk and a niche variant, diet milk, for the health-conscious.
T. D. Mohan, Joint Managing Director, said consumers could now get milk that had zero per cent bacteria.
The 500 ml packs are priced at Rs.19 for Pure+ double toned milk, Rs.20 for Pure+ toned milk, Rs.22 for Pure+ standardised milk, and Rs.22 for Diet+ diet milk. The 200ml packs are priced at Rs.9 (Pure+ double toned milk), Rs.10 (Pure+ toned milk and Diet+ milk) and Rs.11 (Pure+ standardised milk).
