Canadian smartphone maker BlackBerry on Tuesday made a comeback in the Indian market with the introduction of KEYone Limited Edition Black with a price tag of ₹39,990.

The device would be available on Amazon India and the sale will begin on August 8.

“India is an important market for us,” said Alex Thurber, senior vice president, general manager, Mobility Solutions at BlackBerry. “The brand still has a strong connect. KEYone Limited Edition Black has been designed for Indian customers to offer Dual SIM capability,”

This is the first dual SIM BlackBerry phone. Also, its specifications are slightly different from the KEYone launched globally and which supports a single SIM.

KEYone Limited Edition Black will also be made available in Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh.

The Android device comes with 4.5 inch scratch resistant display with Corning Gorilla Glass and is powered by 4GB RAM and 64GB memory that can be expanded by up to 2TB. It also comes with a physical keyboard. It sports a 12 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera.
