Travel portal Yatra.com today announced raising Rs. 140 crore in a funding round led by new investors — technology venture capital fund IDG Ventures India, and Vertex Venture Holdings, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings Pte Ltd, an investment company owned by the Government of Singapore.

Yatra’s existing investors, including seed investor Norwest Venture Partners (NVP), also participated in this round, the company said in a statement.

“We are focused on expanding our reach in the market and further diversifying our business by growing the hotels and holiday packages business.
