Wipro expects greater economic activity, including investments, in India, Chairman Azim Premji said here on Thursday.

“We see a significant rise in business confidence in developed markets as well as India.

“The new government at the Centre has brought about hope and confidence in the minds of all stakeholders through reform prononucements with fiscal prudence.”

The company saw revenues from India and the Middle East geographies by 13.8 per cent, a figure that Wipro CEO T. K. Kurien said Wipro hoped to increase in the current quarter.
