Travel search engine Wego.com, on Tuesday, said it had secured $17 million (about Rs.100 crore) funding in a series C Preferred Share Offering.

The investment round was led by Crescent Point with contributions from Victoria Capital and existing shareholder Tiger Global.

Total capital

This brings Wego’s total capital raised to $36 million, the company said in a statement. The Singapore-based firm is active in 52 markets and 30 languages globally with a strong user base in markets such as Indonesia, India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
