Vodafone’s enterprise division expect 15% contribution in 4 years

Vodafone India’s enterprise services division expects that its contribution to the company’s total turnover would rise to 15 per cent in the next three-four years, a senior company official said on Thursday.

At present, the division’s turnover accounts for about 10 per cent of Vodafone India’s total turnover, Vodafone Business Services Director Naveen Chopra said.

“We doubled our business in the last four years,” he said.

Vodafone India had reported revenues of around Rs. 36,000 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2013.

Mr. Chopra said the division, which was set up four years ago, has made steady progress in since its inception.

“Over a period of time there is robust roadmap for more services... and as the technology goes from 2G to 3G and even 4G environment corporates would have more and more data requirement for spreading to further locations,” he said.

He said the division is now focusing on fixed line data services as it is already a leader in the mobility segment.

Vodafone also announced Havmore Ice Cream Ltd the winner of ‘Vodafone Drive into the Big League Season 3’ The Ahmedabad-based company will get the opportunity of having its logo on the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes cars that will race at the Indian Grand Prix 2013.

“The logo will take centre stage, alongside multi-billion dollar brands, to be viewed by millions of television viewers across the globe,” a company statement said.

The company said the campaign was part of its engagement with small and medium enterprises in the country.

Vodafone Business Services provides voice and data solutions across mobility and wireline platforms.

The business is run through four verticals — Vodafone global enterprise, national corporate, small and medium enterprise and the recently created vertical for government customers.
