Unitech shares continueto free-fall as investors dump shares

Shares of Delhi-based realty major Unitech continued to free-fall on Tuesday as investors chose to dump the stock after the company said in a court submission that it does not have money to refund home buyers. On the BSE, the shares lost 16.91 per cent or Rs.1.04 on Tuesday to close at Rs.5.11. Since August 11, the stock has fallen almost 19 per cent. Incidentally, the stock had touched a 52-week high of Rs.9.05 on July 18, the stock is currently trading 43.5 per cent lower from the highs. — Special Correspondent
