UK’s CDC to invest $25 million in Pristine Logistics

UK’s development finance institution CDC has announced that it will make a direct investment of $25 million in Pristine Logistics which is developing, constructing and operating Greenfield rail freight terminals across northern, central and eastern India. Details of the deal have not been revealed. The terminals provide handling, warehousing and transport services for businesses using the Indian Railways network for freight transport. The company also plans to develop a food park in Bihar to handle and process agricultural products, bringing market connectivity to the region. The investment is likely to create 1500 jobs directly and boost infrastructure in Bihar and UP.
