Following its IT deals in the U.S. and the U.K. earlier this year, Sundaram Infotech Solutions, the IT subsidiary of Sundaram Finance, has announced that it has now expanded its presence in Sri Lanka with a customised ERP implementation of its retail suite of IT solutions on the Microsoft ERP technology platform at Avirate Fashions, an international high-street fashion label owned by Timex Garments.
The Timex and Fergasam Group (T & FG) is a forerunner in apparel manufacturing in Sri Lanka, producing high fashion garments to the leading markets in the EU and the U.S.
Sundaram Infotech’s IT implementation across five stores in Sri Lanka and six stores in India is expected to streamline the day-to-day operations , improve customer service and also result in significant reduction in operations cost as well as time associated with maintaining the application, Sundaram Infotech said in a release.
