SpiceJet streamlines refund process

December 21, 2014 03:11 am | Updated November 17, 2021 02:02 am IST - MUMBAI:

SpiceJet has stepped up efforts to win back customer loyalty by automating flight disruption management system and waiving off fees in case of refund for delayed or rescheduled flights.

“If your SpiceJet flight is cancelled or rescheduled by 90 minutes or more, visit Spicejet.com and follow the 3 convenient steps to change your flight or apply for refund,” SpiceJet said on Saturday.

“Due to the recent restructuring of our fleet size, customers are experiencing inconvenience. We have introduced an innovative self-help link where they can manually modify their bookings due to cancellation or rescheduling of flights. Our call centres are experiencing heavy traffic, hence this is a move to ensure they are not left unattended,” said Kaneswaran Avili, Chief Commercial Officer, SpiceJet.
