Sanofi invests in Apollo Sugar Clinics

French healthcare major Sanofi will be investing Rs.90 crore in Apollo Sugar Clinics Ltd (ASCL), a diabetes care chain that is part of healthcare major Apollo Hospitals. The investment will be made by Sanofi-Synthelabo India through a combination of primary and secondary funding. The investments by Sanofi will enable Apollo Sugar to grow its footprint to many more locations in the country, according to a statement of Apollo Hospitals.
