Electronics major Samsung, on Tuesday, said it expects enterprise business division to contribute up to 10 per cent to its overall revenues this year.

“We are targeting to achieve about 5-10 per cent of overall Samsung India revenues by the end of this year," Samsung Director (Enterprise Business) Akash Saxenaa said.

The enterprise segment is a new one for the company and hence does not contribute to the overall revenues.

He added that the company will focus on segments like education and insurance to meet the target.

Meanwhile, the Korean giant announced a partnership with Modern School located in the national capital for digital classroom – its first in India.

“Samsung has provided Modern School with a Samsung School solution package consisting of 42 GALAXY Note 10.1 units and a 65-inch interactive whiteboard. It enables instant sharing of what’s on the screen of a eacher's device to his/her students' personal devices. It gives teachers greater control over their classroom and increases student engagement,” Mr Saxenaa told reporters here.

The company is talking to other schools in the country as well for the solution. The solution has been deployed in about 30 countries across the world.
