Reliance Power net remains flat

Anil Ambani-led Reliance Power has reported consolidated net profit of Rs.1,028 crore for the year ended March 31, 2015, compared to Rs.1,027 crore in the previous year. During the period, the company reported consolidated operating revenue of Rs.6,853 crore compared to Rs.5,112 crore.

For the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2015, the company reported consolidated net profit of Rs.276 crore compared to Rs.269 crore in the same period last year. This was on consolidated operating income of Rs.1,585 crore against Rs.1,296 crore.

The company said its total generation capacity has now reached 5,945 MW and this included thermal, solar and wind energy.

During the year the company’s 1,200 MW Rosa Power plant in UP generated 8,592 million units and 600 MW Butibori Power plant in Maharashtra generated 3,648 million units. The company said the entire 3,960 MW of Sasan Ultra Mega Power Plant in Madhya Pradesh had been commissioned.
