App-based cab operator Ola announced the appointment of advisor to Infosys’ CEO, Rajiv Bansal, as its Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Bansal, who has resigned from Infosys, will join the start-up in January next year. Mr Bansal, who has over 21 years of experience in finance with over 16 years at Infosys, will be part of Ola’s core leadership team. Mitesh Shah, who is currently the CFO, will lead strategic finance initiatives as part of Rajiv’s team, according to a statement.
“He brings with him a wealth of experience. Rajiv’s understanding and expertise in the finance domain is extremely valuable for us at this juncture of growth,” said Bhavish Aggarwal, Co-founder and CEO, Ola.Recently, Ola closed $500 million in its Series F funding round.
