Nissan launches new Micra

Nissan Motor India launched a new variant of its Micra CVT Automatic hatchback, which is positioned just below the top-of-the-line XV variant. The vehicle is priced at Rs.6.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). “The demand for automatic cars has risen to over 3.5 per cent in the last two years from less than 1 per cent in FY12,” Guillaume Sicard, President – Nissan India Operations, said in a statement. To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the hatchback, the company also announced the new limited edition of Nissa Micra X-Shift based on the XL variant. The company said the X-Shift is limited to 750 units and will come with extra features such as a premium matte black roof wrap and side decals and reverse parking sensors.
