Launches the Verito Vibe which comes in three variants
Mahindra & Mahindra, on Wednesday, announced its entry into the sub-4 metre high volume, compact car segment with the launch of Verito Vibe.
According to M&M, Verito Vibe is designed in-house, and is powered by Renault’s 1.5 litre dCi diesel engine. It delivers a mileage of 20.8 km a litre (ARAI certified).
A wide-bodied compact car, Verito Vibe offers comfortable seating for three adults in the rear seat, and has been designed with a three-box style with a boot separate from the passenger segment, similar to sedans, says a release.
Verito Vibe is derived from the existing Verito sedan which sells around 700 units a month.
While Verito Vibe will be available only with a diesel engine, it comes in three variants — D2, D4 and D6. It will be offered in seven colours, and is priced between Rs.5.63 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai) for the base D2 model, and Rs.6.49 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai) for the fully loaded top-end D6.
“The launch of our much awaited compact car, the Verito Vibe, is another proud moment in our automotive journey,” Pawan Goenka, President-Automotive and Farm Equipment sector, M&M, said in a statement.
“For the Mahindra Group, the launch of the Vibe is a milestone by itself as the team deployed alternative thinking to deliver a high level of technology and performance at a competitive price”.
The car comes with safety features such as ABS with EBD, air bag, engine immobiliser and side impact beams.
