Maruti Suzuki to open bookings for Ciaz from September 3

The company claims that Ciaz diesel has a fuel efficiency of 26.21 KMPL

Country's largest car maker Maruti Suzuki on Tuesday said it will open bookings for the much-awaited sedan from its stable -- Ciaz -- from tomorrow (September 3)

Ciaz, which will compete with other car models like Honda City and Hyundai Verna, will be available in Petrol and Diesel fuel options.

The company said global launch of Ciaz is planned during the forthcoming festival season.

As per company claims, the Ciaz diesel version has a fuel efficiency of 26.21 kmpl, while petrol delivers a mileage of 20.73 kmpl.

The vehicle, first showcased at the New Delhi Auto Expo ealier this year, is planned to be launched in four trim levels (V, V+, Z and Z+).

Customers can book the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz at company's over 1,370 sales outlets across 1,050 cities with a token advance amount of Rs 21,000.
