Jammu and Kashmir Bank Q3 profit up 11 pc

Jammu and Kashmir Bank on Saturday reported an 11 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 321.29 crore in the third quarter ended December 31.

The bank had posted a profit of Rs 289.4 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year, Jammu and Kashmir Bank said in a filing to the BSE.

Total income increased to Rs 1,802.97 crore from Rs 1,623.77 crore a year earlier.

During the first nine months of 2013-14, the bank’s profit climbed 16 per cent to Rs 931.87 crore from Rs 805.02 crore in the same period a year ago.

Total income in the first three quarters rose to Rs 5,268.66 crore, compared with Rs 4,784.82 crore in the same period of the previous financial year.
