Honda launches upgraded Brio

Honda Cars India, on Tuesday, launched upgraded versions of its hatchback Brio with new features, including driver seat height adjuster and a rear windshield defogger, at prices ranging between Rs 4.12 lakh – Rs 6.12 lakh (ex-showroon Delhi).

“Both these features were found to be amongst the most desirable features in the Brio based on the customer’s feedback,” the company said.

The Honda Brio will be available in six variants -- EMT, EXMT, SMT, VMT, VXMT and VXAT.

Honda Cars India Ltd Senior Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Jnaneswar Sen said, “Brio is a significant model for Honda in India as the car added more than 32,000 happy customers in the last fiscal year. We are pleased to announce upgrades to the Brio with added comfort and convenience in its segment which will appeal to the customers.”

The car is powered by a 4-cylinder 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine and gives fuel economy of 19.4 km/litre for manual transmission and 16.5 km/litre for automatic transmission, as per test data, the company said.
