Hitro Energy plans unit in Sriperumbudur

Chennai-based Hitro Energy Solutions (HES) is planning to set up a LED Luminaries manufacturing plant in Sriperumbudur. Besides, it is also on the verge of acquiring a solar panel manufacturer based in Coimbatore.

Talking to The Hindu, HES Managing Director N.S. Rangachari said that the company would invest close to Rs. seven crore in setting up the manufacturing and assembly plant.

“The Sriperumbudur plant will be commissioned by the year-end. We have already appointed a technical advisor, and the funds are being arranged. The manufacturing activities at the 20MW solar panel unit in Coimbatore will begin from March 2015,” he said.
