HCL Infosystems CEO resigns

HCL Infosystems, on Monday, announced that Harshavardhan Madhav Chitale had resigned as Managing Director and CEO of the company. His resignation would take effect from the close of business hours on December 31. In a filing to the BSE, the company also said Mr. Chitale would resign as the director from the board on the same day. Further, the company has informed the exchange that Premkumar Seshadri, Director and Executive Vice-Chairman, has been appointed as the Managing Director of the company with effect from January 1, 2015. Mr. Seshadri was appointed as the Executive Vice-Chairman of HCL Infosystems in September 2014.
