Gamesa, Greenko in pact for 300 MW projects

Gamesa and Greenko have signed a new business agreement to commission 300 MW wind power projects in India. The first phase of 160 MW has been secured and Gamesa is installing its multi-MW turbines in identified sites in Karnataka and Rajasthan, which is expected to be commissioned by June this year. The second phase of 140 MW, expected to be secured by April 2015, will be commissioned by September 2015. “Gamesa has signed a total of 600 MW with Greenko till date,” Ramesh Kymal, Chairman and Managing Director, Gamesa India said in a statement.
