Encore Cement and Additives, a wholly-owned subsidiary of cement major ACC, has been amalgamated with it.
Encore has a slag grinding unit at Visakhapatnam and it has been renamed Vizag Cement Works.
It will be ACC’s 18th cement plant, an ACC statement said.
Vizag Cement Works manufactures Portland slag cement and coastal cement, a superior variety of environment-friendly Portland cement.
