Corp Bank extends help to SHGs

Corporation Bank has financed 300 self-help groups (SHG) in and around Sriperumpudur industrial corridor. The bank said it teamed up with Dhan Foundation to provide fund assistance to these groups. "The bank is known for its closeness to customers and is always in the forefront in helping genuine and needy beneficiaries," S. R. Bansal, Chairman and Managing Director, said in a release

Appreciating the efforts of women entrepreneurs, he stated that once the women assumed lead role in income generation for the family, “nothing stops them from achieving financial independence and welfare of the family’’. He advised the beneficiaries to be prompt in repayment.
