Cipla completes Cipla Medpro acquisition

Cipla has completed the acquisition of 100 per cent of the issued shares of Cipla Medpro South Africa for a consideration of 4,507 million South African rand (Rs.2,707 crore).

As a result, Cipla Medpro shares which were listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) have been de-listed from Tuesday, Cipla said in a statement.

Cipla has a long-standing agreement with Cipla Medpro and provides a wide range of products to it across dosage forms.
