Chennai law firm to launch knowledge portal on IBC cases

The idea is to make legal research simple, relevant, easy and fast.

CHENNAI: City-based law firm A.K. Mylsamy and Associates LLP (akm) has embarked on a knowledge-sharing exercise in an entirely new domain that has become an intense topic of discussion and attracted quite an attention across the canvass.

The firm has conceptualised and designed an all-encompassing knowledge and research portal on the law of insolvency and bankruptcy. The portal with a domain address of www.IBCcases.com is intended to provide easy access and user-friendly interface on the subject of insolvency and bankruptcy. According to P.S. Suman, the portal will be a ``repository of case laws’’ and provide a brief summary of all cases.

If one were go to by A.K. Mylsamy, Managing Partner, the web portal will help the Chennai firm to carve a unique niche for itself in the field of corporate law. ``We have started this exercise to enable corporates and professionals such as lawyers, insolvency resolution professionals, company secretaries, chartered accountants and others to freely access the large database of IBC (insolvency and bankruptcy code) cases for their use,’’ Mr. Suman said. The idea was to make legal research simple, relevant, easy and fast, he added.

The company has already soft-launched the portal. A formal launch is expected very soon.
