BS Enviro Solutions Ltd., a subsidiary of BS Limited, on Monday, announced its acquisition of a majority (51 per cent) stake in Harbinger Capital Parners’ Skywater India Pvt. Ltd.

Skywater India manufactures and installs advanced air-to-water generators in areas with little or no access to clean drinking water.

BS Enviro, through its investment, would become the local operating partner of the business and would take over the responsibility of the day-to-day management of Skywater India.

The joint venture marks the BS Enviro’s entry into the potable/renewable water generation segment.

“We plan to tap the huge opportunity of providing access of clean water to rural communities in the country and help improve the health of people”, Chairman and Managing Director of BS Limited Rajesh Agarwal said.
