Mobile handset maker BlackBerry on Wednesday launched Z3 smartphone in India for Rs.15,990, a company statement said.

The all-touch BlackBerry Z3 comes with a five-inch display.

“The BlackBerry Z3 is also the first smartphone to be introduced from our strategic partnership with Foxconn and it further strengthens our commitment to enhance our devices portfolio,” Sunil Lalvani, managing director for India at BlackBerry, said.

For the first time ever, BlackBerry launches BlackBerry Maps for its users in India with this phone. This app provides two-dimensional (2D) maps, local search and voice guided turn-by-turn directions — just like GPS navigation system.

The new smartphone is available for pre-book with the MobileStore, Flipkart and all BlackBerry exclusive stores from June 25 to July 2.
