Bharti Airtel unveils unlimited data for three months at Rs.1,495

September 24, 2016 01:16 am | Updated November 01, 2016 08:30 pm IST - NEW DELHI:

Bharti Airtel announced a 90-day unlimited data plan priced at Rs.1,495 for 4G users. The move follows commercial start of services by new entrant Reliance Jio earlier this month. Airtel, however, added that fair usage policy will be applicable on the data pack, which means consumers can avail up to 30 GB of high-speed data over 90 days. Once this data limit is exhausted, the Internet will continue but on 2G speeds. The offer effectively brings down 4G data rates to Rs.50 per GB. The pack is currently available in Delhi and will be rolled out across other circles over the next few days. Customers with 4G handsets generally consume large amounts of data and this proposition is specifically aimed at them. Customers can stay online round the clock without having to worry about exhausting their data limits.
