The Oberoi group will open another Trident hotel in Mumbai Dec 17, a company statement said here on Tuesday.

“The hotel offers 436 guest rooms and suites, three restaurants, a live sushi bar and a wine tasting room. The extensive meeting and conference facilities at the hotel can accommodate up to 500 persons,” the statement said.

The hotel is located in the heart of the new financial and commercial district of north Mumbai at Bandra Kurla.

The Oberoi group operates 27 hotels and three cruisers in five countries under the luxury “Oberoi” and five-star “Trident” brands.

It already has a Trident hotel in Mumbai - at Nariman Point, which was one of the several targets of terrorists attacks in November last year.

The group is also engaged in flight catering, airport restaurants, travel and tour services, car rentals, project management and corporate air charters.
