Android tablet for kids launched

New Delhi-based start-up Metis Learning on Wednesday launched an Android operating system-powered tablet targeted at kids aged 2-10 years.

The company claims its tablet, Eddy, which will be available at an introductory price of Rs.9,999 till February 20, is India’s first Android-powered kids learning tablet.

Eddy comes with a 7-inch screen with a 1.6 GhZ dual core processor with 1 GB RAM and an internal memory of 8 GB, which can be expanded to 32 GM with a micro SD card. A 3200 mAH battery ensures more than four hours of continuous usage time on full charge.
