Premium apparel maker Allen Solly is expected to earn Rs. 650 crore revenue, a 40 per cent growth this fiscal, owing to new customer-centric initiatives, according to Sooraj Bhat, Brand Head .
The company claims leadership in the premium branded apparel segment, which is estimated at Rs. 6,000 crore .
“Our key initiatives such as colour lab tablet at stores and ramp up of stores across the country should drive our growth,” said Mr. Bhat .
The company has set up 670 machines to enable quick production of garments with a unique colour.
The colour lab facility, which is limited to men’s segment, will be extended to women from the coming summer.
The new initiatives have guarded the brand from the ongoing volatility of rupee and rising raw material costs, which have impacted the revenue and profits margins of several firms.
Margins are going to see consistent growth, according to the brand head.
The brand, which belongs to Madura Fashion, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the BSE-listed firm Aditya Birla Group, has 170 outlets across the country.
The store network will reach 200 by the end of this fiscal, according to the company.
Over half of the outlets are on franchisee mode,l and the rest are exclusively managed by the company.
